Damara Gold Project

In 2023, Great Quest Gold expanded its portfolio by acquiring up to 70% of Belmont Mineral Exploration (Pty) Ltd., a Namibian private company. Belmont holds 14 exclusive prospecting licences covering over 307,778 hectares of exploration ground. This acquisition gives Great Quest access to three primary project areas: the Khorixas Gold Project, the Omatjete Gold Project, and the Outjo Gold Project.

Khorixas Gold Project

The Khorixas Gold Project is located approximately 350 km northeast of Walvis Bay in the Northern Zone of the Damara Orogenic Belt, covering 169,000 hectares.
This region is known for its prolific gold and lithium deposits, with major exploration targets including Belmont and K17.

Omatjete Gold Project

The Omatjete Gold Project, located in the North Central Zone of the Damara Orogenic Belt, is a key exploration focus for Great Quest Gold. With over 93,000 hectares and situated approximately 80 km southeast of the Khorixas Project, the area is characterized by a major sedimentary basin intruded by multiple syn-tectonic granites, which have significantly enhanced its geological complexity and mineral potential.

Outjo Gold Project

The Outjo Gold Project, located approximately 80 km east of the Khorixas Project, covers over 45,000 hectares within the Damara Orogenic Belt.

The geology of the Outjo basin is consistent with other major basins in Namibia known to host significant gold deposits. The Outjo syncline spans 85 km by 12 km and, like the Karibib syncline (70 km by 10 km), strikes NE/SW as a result of late D3 deformation.
